Make these glow-in-the-dark bowling pins for a fun indoor bowling night.

What You'll Need

What to Do

  1. Use colorful tape and paint markers to decorate 10 empty water bottles.

  2.  Place a glow stick inside each bottle. (Activate the glow sticks just before use.)

  3. Make 2 bean bags. (See directions below.)

How To Play

Set up the bottles like bowling pins. Player 1 tosses two bean bags at them. Count the bottles that were knocked down, then reset them. Player 2 goes. Whoever knocks down the most bottles in the round earns a point. The first player to reach 5 points wins.

Extend the Fun

Add some water to each bottle for a greater challenge.

Bean Bags

How To Make the Bean Bags

1. For each bean bag, cut the sides of a sealable plastic bag to make a small octagon.

2. Cover the bag with colorful tape, leaving the top open.

3. Fill the bag with rice or dried beans. To play in the dark, put a glow bracelet inside. Seal the bag.
