Coronation day in England is a special day when a new king or queen is crowned. This ceremony has been an important part of English history for hundreds of years. During the ceremony, the new monarch is crowned with a special crown, and they swear an oath to serve their country and its people. The event is held at Westminster Abbey in London, and there are often big celebrations and parades throughout the city. People come from all over the world to witness the spectacle and show their support for the new king or queen; those opposed to monarchy organize protests.
