Extend the Fun
For younger kids
This craft is the perfect way for kids to practice fine motor skills while expressing their creativity. Now, help your little one take the fun and learning even further by incorporating social emotional practice! Have your child choose photos or create pieces of artwork as gifts for others. Then, place them into your homemade picture frames for one-of-a-kind presents worthy of celebrating any special occasion.
For older kids
After your child creates their artistic picture frame craft, have them dive deeper into different artists and art styles. Do they prefer painting, textiles, sculpture or something else? Why? Who are their favorite artists and what are their stories? Ask your child to make their own versions of their favorite artworks and frame them to display at home.
